EHS Media Center
ALL DeKalb County Eastern CSD media centers are an integral part of the learning and teaching process. Our goal is to provide a welcoming, comfortable environment where students are encouraged and inspired to pursue their academic and personal interests.
Media Center Philosophy
- All students at Eastside Jr/Sr High School shall have provided for them a library materials center (Media Center) that will encourage and aid them to grow intellectually, socially and emotionally.
- The Media Center shall adhere to the philosophy and policies of Eastside Jr/Sr High School.
- The Media Center shall provide an atmosphere conducive to research, learning and reading.
- Reading shall strongly be encouraged for both class assignments and leisure time.
- The Media Center shall encourage all students to achieve their potential.
- The Media Center and its staff shall provide services to the students, faculty, administration, school staff, parents and community.
